PCK Inaugurates Disciplinary Committee to Oversee Professional Conduct

The Physiotherapy Council of Kenya has inaugurated its Disciplinary Committee to strengthen professional accountability. Appointed by the Cabinet Secretary for Health and the Attorney General, the committee includes Daniel Toroitich (Public Sector), Regina Ngami (Private Sector), and Pauline Moranga, who will be the Attorney General’s Representative.

The committee will receive complaints, investigate cases, and take action on professional misconduct among physiotherapists. Their work is guided by the Physiotherapists Act, Physiotherapy Rules 2017, and the Code of Conduct & Ethics to ensure fairness and professionalism.

PCK reaffirmed its commitment to upholding high standards in physiotherapy. The council encourages professionals and the public to report misconduct, ensuring integrity and quality in healthcare services.
